TABANDA is a furniture brand led by Filip Ludka, Megi Malinowska and Tomek Kempa. Due to their education, they form a creative core and each of their projects contains the features of the entire trio. Designing is undeniably their passion. The fruit of this are timeless furniture and experiences that they joyfully share. They approach the world with attention and curiosity and they create new relationships with trust. They know that this is how friendship and love are built – values for years. They take nature seriously and take to heart the values it teaches them. Thanks to this, they are able to strive for balance. Tabanda is a trio of brave people. Sport and adventure are a way for a happy living for them. They feel and say openly that together they form a unique team. During thirteen years of activity, Tabanda has created a collection of high-quality furniture that constantly growing recognition in Poland and in the world. Their projects have sneaked into Wallpaper, Elle Décor, ICON and Designboom. They have been awarded 10 times with 'Must Have' at Łódź Design Festival for well-designed and implemented furniture. Design Alive magazine has awarded Tabanda with the title of the ‘Creator of the year 2014’ for an interactive exhibition „Test Zone” at Łódź Design Festival. In 2015, they co-created the national exhibition "Do it your way" at the Milan Design Week Festival. In 2021, they received the 'The Best of Elle Decoration' award in the Original Brand category. Over the past years, they have been present at furniture fairs and festivals in Poland and around the world, such as: IMM Cologne, ICFF New York, M&O Paris, Milan Design Week, Warsaw Home, DMY Berlin, Łódź Design Festival, Gdynia Design Days. During the last Warsaw Home Fair 2021 they have designed and built their stand from cardboard boxes, which were reused for shipping of their furniture after the fair. Thanks to this, they managed to reduce the waste to a minimum and the building material they used gained a new life and function.
